Aloha! My name is Christina Kaleolani KauhaneKalehua Kapu’uwaioKamauna Pahio Shimamoto, my maiden name is Foster. I was born and raised in Ninole on the Big Island of Hawaii, up in the mountains where we had a garden and farm animals. While my friends grew up watching tv and playing video games, I grew up in the country learning the importance of hard work. I have 8 brothers and 3 sisters. I attended Laupahoehoe High & Elementary School and then went to Hilo Community College to become an entrepreneur. In 2014 I got married to the love of my life and we are now the proud parents of 3 girls and 1 boy.

When I was 16 years old, my dad suffered a major stroke that left him needing to recuperate for years, he needed care in a nursing facility, and then extensive care at home. It was a huge blessing that he had a great insurance plan that helped him and my mom through such a hard time. I have seen first hand how important it is to have a health insurance plan that covers your needs, which is why I decided to become an insurance agent, so that I can help other Medicare beneficiaries find the right plan for them.

As we all know, no two people are exactly alike, everyone will need and want different Medicare benefits. There are a lot of Medicare options, it can get confusing and overwhelming, as a health insurance broker I am here to help you navigate through the many choices, so that you can make educated decisions to maximize your benefits every year.
