Things to Consider when choosing a health plan

  • When is your enrollment period?

  • Can you afford the monthly premium?

  • Does your doctor participate with the plan?

  • Are your prescriptions covered?

  • How much are co-pays and co-insurance?

  • Will you be covered when you travel?

  • Is dental coverage included?

Our agents will walk through these questions with you to ensure you find and enroll in the right plan for you.

Contact us to schedule a free consultation. We'll meet you at your home, in our office, over a WebEx call or anywhere else that is convenient for you.

Medicare for my Company

Services for EMPLOYERS & Community Groups

Are you prepared to help your semi-retiring or retiring employees navigate their Medicare options?

Helping your employees get the right coverage is a great benefit for your staff.

If your employees are more comfortable speaking their native language, we can also help. We have licensed agents that speak Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, Ilocano, Vietnamese, Spanish, Portuguese, and American Sign Language available to assist you.

EMPLOYERS WITH LESS THAN 20 EMPLOYEES

If you have less than 20 employees, when your employees turn 65 they will need to enroll in Medicare Parts A and B because that will be their primary insurance.

Understanding Medicare coverage and options for your employees will help you better budget and save on health care costs.

While most employers are not experts on senior health care options, we are! Let us assist your retirees and future retirees through this confusing time. We can sit with your employees at your worksite, at our office or via a webinar meeting before they retire to help ease the transition at no cost to you or your employee(s).

EMPLOYERS WITH 20 or more EMPLOYEES

If you have more than 20 employees, when your employees turn 65 the employer-sponsored health care plan remains primary.

With that said, it is recommended for employees to still enroll in Medicare Part A on time, as it doesn't cost the employee anything and can serve as secondary insurance to potentially pick-up anything that primary insurance doesn't cover.

Medicare education is key to ensure your employees don't miss any key deadlines and are making the best decisions on their health care coverage when it comes to retirement planning.

We'd love to sit down and chat to find the best way PBC can support you and your employees.

community groups & organizations

Do you run an organization or community group with members who are or approaching retirement age?

We would love to customize a presentation to address your member's questions and concerns around Medicare coverage and planning.

We can speak on topics such as:

  • Medicare Enrollment Seasons

  • Medicare Part D and its coverage gap

  • Annual changes to Medicare coverage and insurance benefits

Our busiest season is the last quarter of the year (during the annual enrollment period), so please contact us early to schedule your presentation. We can present in-person and/or host an online webinar session.
