Get to know Ashlene

Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Ashlene grew up in Mākaha on Oʻahu’s west side, where her family has deep roots in the community. She was raised on a family farm in the valleys of Mākaha, surrounded by the Hawaiian culture, traditions, and strong sense of family that continue to shape who she is today.

Ashlene brings more than 20 years of experience as a Medicare specialist, including an accomplished career with HMSA. Throughout the years, she has hosted numerous senior events and Medicare seminars, helping to educate and empower kūpuna across Hawaiʻi. She also served as a Senior Advantage concierge for employer group plans throughout the state, providing personalized guidance and support to members navigating their transition to Medicare.

As an independent agent with Premier Benefit Consultants, Ashlene helps individuals at every stage of their Medicare journey. She assists those preparing to retire and transition from employer-based coverage, people becoming eligible for Medicare for the first time, and current beneficiaries who want help understanding their existing coverage and available options.

Family remains at the center of Ashlene’s life. She is the proud mother of three children and “Grand-Mama” to five grandchildren, including twin girls. She is also a first-time dog mama who enjoys the companionship of her furry family member. In her free time, Ashlene enjoys weekend gatherings in Mākaha, spending time with lifelong friends, staying active at the gym, and traveling across the country for her children’s sports. She can often be found cheering from the sidelines at flag football, baseball, and softball games.

Ashlene dedicates much of her time to her grandchildren, who keep her energized and on her toes. Whether she is helping a client, supporting her family, or enjoying time in the community that raised her, Ashlene brings experience, warmth, and genuine aloha to everything she does.
