While preparing to sign up for his Medicare benefits, Gerald was lost and confused so he reached out to his friend- Shawn Nakano, Principal Agent at Premier Benefit Consultants who helped him understand the complexities of Medicare and found the best Medicare Advantage plan for him. Based on this experience and Gerald’s desire to help others he obtained his insurance license from the State of Hawaii in February 2024.

A graduate of Pearl City High School; Gerald holds a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii and currently resides in Makiki, Hawaii. His career accomplishments include 27 successful years of sales and marketing at Kraft Foods (Hawaii and Mainland), 3 years in leadership with the Hawaii Foodbank, and directing events at Star Events, a division of Oahu Publications. And he continues to serve the community by participating in non-profit organizations such as the Hawaii Foodbank, Rotary Club of Ala Moana, the Hawaii State Golf Association,

When he is not helping people with their Medicare questions, Gerald enjoys playing golf, keeping fit and having an occasional beverage with friends.
