Get to know Jessica
Jessica brings a strong work ethic, extensive Medicare experience, and a deeply personal understanding of how important the right healthcare coverage can be. Since entering the Medicare industry in 2016, she has helped hundreds of people better understand Medicare and make informed decisions about their coverage.
As an independent agent with Premier Benefit Consultants, Jessica assists individuals who are becoming eligible for Medicare, current beneficiaries who want help understanding or reviewing their existing coverage, and those preparing to retire and transition from employer-based insurance. She also welcomes questions from family members, guardians, employers, physicians, case managers, service coordinators, and community partners.
Jessica understands that every person’s healthcare needs and circumstances are different. She takes the time to listen, clearly explain the available options, and help each client determine which coverage may be appropriate for their individual situation. Complimentary consultations are available by appointment over the phone or through video conference.
Her commitment to this work is also personal. Jessica’s parents and husband are Medicare beneficiaries, and one of her sons, who has muscular dystrophy, also receives Medicare benefits. These experiences have given her a firsthand appreciation for the importance of dependable health coverage and compassionate guidance. Her service continues after enrollment, and clients can count on her to remain available when questions, concerns, or changes arise.
Born on Hawaiʻi Island, Jessica spent her early childhood in Waiākea Uka. When she reached middle school, her family moved to Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands, an island approximately 2.5 miles long and half a mile wide. She attended Kwajalein Junior-Senior High School from seventh grade until graduating in 1987.
Jessica later returned home to Hawaiʻi Island and earned an associate degree in Accounting from Hawaiʻi Community College. She continued her education at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, followed by a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University Hawaiʻi. Her education and life experiences have strengthened her ability to listen carefully, communicate with empathy, and understand the concerns of the individuals and families she serves.
Jessica is a highly valued member of the PBC family and one of the hardest-working people we know. Her knowledge, determination, and sincere concern for others have made her a trusted resource for her clients and a respected member of our team. PBC is proud of Jessica’s accomplishments and has complete confidence in the knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable service she provides.
Family is at the heart of Jessica’s life. She is a wife and the proud mother of one daughter and four sons. She is also a daughter, sister, aunty, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, friend, and—believe it or not—a grandmother to 10 grandchildren, all under the age of nine. The many roles she holds within her own family contribute to the patience, understanding, and genuine care she brings to every client relationship.
Jessica’s guiding message reflects the compassion at the center of both her life and her work: “Kindness begins with the understanding that we all struggle.”
