Get to know Julie

Julie Agbayani-Hall is a trusted Medicare insurance agent and PBC’s Agent Training and Development Specialist. Friendly, knowledgeable, and highly professional, Julie is committed to helping individuals and families understand their healthcare options while providing attentive, ongoing service.

Julie assists people at every stage of their Medicare journey, including those approaching Medicare eligibility, preparing to retire and transition from employer-based coverage, or already enrolled in a Medicare plan. She also welcomes the opportunity to assist family members, guardians, employers, physicians, and anyone seeking a clearer understanding of Medicare. Complimentary consultations are available by appointment over the phone or by video conference.

Born in Thailand as the daughter of a servicemember, Julie lived in several states before her father retired and returned home to Hawaiʻi. She considers herself fortunate to have spent part of her childhood in the sleepy town of Hilo before moving to Oʻahu during her sophomore year. Julie later graduated from Waipahu High School—Go Marauders!—and earned her degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in 1991.

 

After college, Julie set her sights on the fast-paced and competitive environment of San Francisco and Silicon Valley. In 2002, following the birth of the first of her three daughters, she was grateful for the opportunity to step away from her career and devote her time to being a mother.

For more than a decade, Julie has been passionate about serving her community and caring for Hawaiʻi’s kūpuna. She understands that Medicare and Medicaid can feel frustrating or overwhelming, so she takes the time to listen, learn about each person’s needs, and address the concerns of both her clients and their families. Her goal is to make healthcare benefits easier to understand so every client can make informed decisions with confidence.

Julie’s care continues long after an initial appointment or enrollment. She believes in building lasting relationships and being available whenever her clients need guidance, reassurance, or help understanding changes in their coverage.

As PBC’s Agent Training and Development Specialist, Julie also shares her knowledge and experience with other agents, helping them grow professionally and provide the high level of care our clients deserve. She is an outstanding agent, a thoughtful leader, and a deeply valued member of the PBC family. Her intelligence, warmth, professionalism, and consistently positive spirit make her someone both clients and colleagues can trust. Julie has been happily married for 22 years and is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters. Her devotion to her family, her clients, and her community is evident in everything she does.
