Kaelene brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial and insurance industries, along with extensive knowledge of retirement transitions, insurance, and financial planning. As an independent agent with Premier Benefit Consultants, she is committed to educating and empowering individuals so they can make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage and financial future.

Kaelene assists people throughout every stage of their Medicare journey, including those preparing to retire and transition from employer-based coverage, individuals becoming eligible for Medicare for the first time, and current beneficiaries who want help understanding or reviewing their existing plans.

 

She recognizes that Medicare and retirement planning can feel complicated, especially when every person’s healthcare needs, finances, and circumstances are different. Kaelene takes a personalized and confidential approach, carefully listening to each client’s concerns, clearly explaining the available options, and helping them identify coverage suited to their individual needs and priorities.

Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Kaelene graduated from Kalaheo High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also the founder of Rise Up Financial, where her practice is dedicated to helping Hawaiʻi residents better understand financial, insurance, and tax strategies.

 

Throughout her accomplished career, Kaelene has worked with respected organizations including Bank of Hawaiʻi, Edward Jones Investments, John Hancock, MetLife/MassMutual, Lincoln Financial Securities, and Premier Benefit Consultants. Her broad professional background has allowed her to serve individuals, families, executives, and businesses with a variety of retirement transition and estate-planning needs.

 

Kaelene specializes in retirement transition planning, including retirement income and expense considerations, Medicare costs, coverage, and the transition from employer-sponsored benefits. As an independent professional, she is able to evaluate options from multiple respected financial and insurance companies and provide side-by-side comparisons based on each client’s individual circumstances. Her goal is to help clients identify affordable strategies and solutions that provide greater clarity and peace of mind for both their present and future.
