Matt brings extensive insurance experience, a calm and approachable personality, and a genuine interest in helping others. As an independent agent with Premier Benefit Consultants, he provides thoughtful guidance and dependable ongoing service to individuals and families navigating Medicare.

 

Matt assists people throughout every stage of their Medicare journey, including those preparing to retire and transition from employer-sponsored coverage, individuals becoming eligible for Medicare for the first time, and current beneficiaries who want help understanding or reviewing their existing plans.

 

He recognizes that Medicare involves complex and important decisions. Matt’s approach begins with listening carefully so he can understand each client’s healthcare needs, priorities, and circumstances. He then clearly explains the available options and helps each person make an informed decision based on what is most appropriate for them.

 

Matt’s commitment continues after enrollment. He remains available to answer questions, address concerns, and provide ongoing assistance as his clients’ healthcare needs or circumstances change. His calm, patient manner helps clients feel comfortable, respected, and confident that they have someone dependable to turn to. Born and raised in Southern California, Matt began his insurance career after graduating from college in Utah. While still deciding which career path to pursue, he attended a career fair and was recruited by a State Farm agent. He began specializing in personal automobile, homeowners, and life insurance, gaining valuable experience helping individuals and families protect what matters most to them.

 

A few years later, Matt moved to Hawaiʻi and continued his insurance career with an independent agency offering employee benefits and Medicare plans. His broad experience across several areas of insurance gives him a strong foundation for helping clients understand detailed information and approach important decisions with greater clarity.

 

Matt finds working with Medicare beneficiaries especially rewarding because he understands how much assistance people may need when navigating unfamiliar and complicated choices. Knowing that his guidance can reduce someone’s stress and make the process easier brings him a genuine sense of happiness and fulfillment.

Matt is married and the proud father of three children. He is actively involved with his church, where he mentors youth and serves members of the congregation and surrounding community. Outside of work, he enjoys playing and watching sports—especially football, basketball, and volleyball. He also volunteers at local high school football games as a member of the chain crew.
