Get to know Patty
Patty brings a strong scientific background, a deep connection to Hawaiʻi, and a sincere desire to serve the community. As an independent agent with Premier Benefit Consultants, she is committed to helping individuals and families understand their health insurance options and navigate Medicare with greater clarity and confidence.
Patty assists individuals who are becoming eligible for Medicare, current beneficiaries who want help understanding or reviewing their existing coverage, and those preparing to retire and transition from employer-sponsored insurance. She also welcomes questions from family members, guardians, caregivers, employers, physicians, and anyone seeking a clearer understanding of Medicare.
She recognizes that Medicare can feel complicated and overwhelming. Patty takes the time to listen, clearly explain the available options, and help each client make an informed decision based on their individual healthcare needs and circumstances.
Her service continues after enrollment. Patty remains available to answer questions, address concerns, and provide ongoing assistance as her clients’ healthcare needs or circumstances change. Complimentary consultations are available by appointment over the phone or through video conference.
Born in Honolulu and raised in Hālawa and ʻAiea, Patty has deep family roots in Hawaiʻi. She is fourth-generation Hawaiʻi-born on her father’s side, with family ancestry from Hiroshima, and third-generation on her mother’s side, with Okinawan ancestry.
In 1988, Patty moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. Her career in scientific research later brought her to California, where she worked with the University of California and independent physicians on a variety of research projects. Her education and professional experience strengthened her analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to understand complex information—all qualities that benefit the clients she serves today.
Patty returned home to Hawaiʻi in 2016 and now resides in Pālolo Valley. Her love for the islands and appreciation for her family heritage inspire her desire to give back and help Hawaiʻi’s kūpuna, keiki, and future generations continue to call these islands home.
Patty is a valued member of the PBC family. Her intelligence, life experience, and genuine aloha for the community make her a thoughtful and dependable resource for Medicare beneficiaries and their families. PBC appreciates the care and purpose she brings to her work and has complete confidence in the attentive service she provides.
