Get to know Raina
Raina brings more than 15 years of insurance industry experience, extensive knowledge, and a genuine passion for educating Hawaiʻi’s Medicare community. She believes knowledge is power and that understanding your options is the key to making confident healthcare decisions.
As an independent agent with Premier Benefit Consultants, Raina assists individuals who are becoming eligible for Medicare, current beneficiaries who want help understanding or reviewing their existing coverage, and those preparing to retire and transition from employer-based insurance. She also welcomes questions from family members, guardians, employers, physicians, and anyone seeking a clearer understanding of Medicare.
Raina recognizes that health insurance can feel complicated, especially when every person has different healthcare needs and circumstances. She takes the time to listen, clearly explain the available options, and help each client make an informed decision. Her service continues after enrollment, and she remains available whenever questions, concerns, or changes arise. Complimentary consultations are available by appointment over the phone or through video conference.
Born and raised on Oʻahu, Raina attended Punahou School before continuing her education at Oregon State University. Her local upbringing, professional experience, and commitment to lifelong learning have shaped the knowledgeable and thoughtful approach she brings to every client relationship.
Raina is a highly valued member of the PBC family. Smart, experienced, and dependable, she combines strong insurance knowledge with a sincere desire to help others. PBC has complete confidence in the guidance and ongoing service she provides and is proud to have someone of her professionalism, character, and compassion representing our agency and the people we serve.
Outside of work, Raina enjoys playing pickleball, surfing, watching sports, spending time with her family, and caring for her three dogs, Nalu, Hurley, and Maia. A lifelong animal lover, she also dedicates her time to Fur-Angel Foundation, the nonprofit organization she co-founded to rescue underprivileged and unwanted dogs.
Based on Oʻahu, Fur-Angel Foundation also works to strengthen the bond between people and animals by educating the community about responsible care and animal welfare. Raina’s dedication to the organization reflects the same compassion, leadership, and commitment to service that she brings to her clients every day.
