Taryn brings nearly two decades of Medicare experience, a strong financial-services background, and a reputation for professionalism, hard work, and dependable service. Since 2008, she has helped Medicare beneficiaries understand their healthcare choices and make informed decisions with confidence.

 

As an independent agent with Premier Benefit Consultants, Taryn assists individuals who are becoming eligible for Medicare, current beneficiaries who want help understanding or reviewing their existing coverage, and those preparing to retire and transition from employer-based insurance. She also welcomes questions from family members, guardians, physicians, and anyone seeking a clearer understanding of Medicare.

 

Taryn takes the time to understand each person’s healthcare needs and circumstances before clearly explaining the available options. Her service continues after enrollment, and she remains available to assist clients whenever questions, concerns, or changes arise. Complimentary consultations are available by appointment over the phone or through video conference.

 

Taryn specializes in working with businesses, financial institutions, employers, professional organizations, and community groups to support their clients, employees, and members. Before entering the health insurance profession, Taryn spent eight years as a financial advisor with several institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where she attended on a cheerleading scholarship, and later earned a Master of Business Administration from Chaminade University. She is also a proud graduate of Kailua High School—go Surfriders!

Outside of work, Taryn is a busy mother of two middle-school children and enjoys spoiling her 15-year-old dog, Runchkin. In her free time, she enjoys exercise classes, cheering on her children at their sporting events, and judging Hawaiʻi high school cheerleading competitions.
