Get to know Theresa

Born in the Philippines and raised on Maui, Theresa has deep roots in Hawaiʻi and a genuine appreciation for family, community, and service. She is the proud mother of three adult children—two sons and a daughter—and a loving grandmother to one granddaughter.

Theresa was inspired to enter the insurance industry by her mother, who served as an independent insurance broker for more than 30 years. Through her mother’s example, Theresa learned the importance of working with integrity, building lasting relationships, and being someone people can depend on.

 

What Theresa loves most about helping Medicare beneficiaries is the opportunity to provide genuine support and patience when it is needed most. She understands how confusing healthcare choices can feel and finds it deeply rewarding to make those choices clearer and more manageable. Just as meaningful are the relationships she develops along the way. Theresa enjoys listening to her clients’ stories, learning about their families, and appreciating the wisdom and kindness they share.

 

Her approach begins with listening. Theresa takes the time to understand each person, their story, and their individual needs before guiding them through their Medicare options. She provides the same patience, care, and respect she would want for her own family, helping each client feel comfortable, informed, and supported.

 

For Theresa, enrollment is not the end of the relationship—it is only the beginning. She remains accessible to her clients throughout the year, whether they have a question, need help understanding a bill, or want to review their options as their needs change. Theresa believes in returning calls, following through, and making sure her clients know they have someone dependable in their corner.

 

Theresa’s commitment to serving others extends throughout the community. She serves on the boards of Mental Health America of Hawaiʻi and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). She is also a former president of the Rotary Club of Maui. Her leadership and community involvement reflect her sincere desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
